One of Buddy's Home Furnishings' Largest Operator Adds 64th Location

Two Buddy’s Home Furnishings multi-unit operators, including one of the system’s largest franchisees, have just added more locations to their portfolios.

One of Buddy’s largest multi-unit operators, bebe stores, inc., will now operate 64 of the brand’s locations across 10 states, thanks to its newest store opening in Leeds, Alabama. Martin Fontela, chief operating officer of BHF Stores, LLC, said, “Buddy’s fosters a team-minded mentality between the franchisee and franchisor, which is a dynamic you don’t find in most franchise opportunities. It’s a huge reason why we’ve been able to grow at an exponential rate, and we’re proud to open the doors of our 64th location in Leeds.”

Meanwhile, in Roxboro, North Carolina, Kappa Investments, LLC, is opening its seventh Buddy’s location. Kappa Investments owner Jerry Marshall, said, "The Buddy's Playbook is built to help us as franchise owners. It is a tested and action-oriented guide to operating a successful business, which has allowed us to scale our business and open new stores like our latest location in Roxboro."

Buddy’s has been franchising since 2009 and has more than 335 stores in the United States and Guam.
