Einstein Bros. Bagels Introduces Convenience Store Location

Einstein Bros. Bagels is opening its first-ever convenience store location inside a King Fuel store in Houston. The deal is part of a five-store development agreement with the c-store chain. All five stores included in the deal will all be in the Houston metro area, with the first two projected to be open by year’s end.

The new Einstein Bros. Bagels bakeries have been optimized for the King Fuel locations by utilizing a smaller footprint than the brand’s typical units. The simplified, easier-to-operate platform will still deliver a culinary and convenient customer experience, including breakfast and lunch favorites like select bagel and shmear flavors, egg sandwiches, cold brew coffee, and hot Pizza Bagels.

“We’re witnessing more consumers looking to c-stores as morning destinations and the demand for bakery and breakfast products continue to increase,” said Nick Schaefer, SVP, Bagel Brands Development, Einstein Bros. Bagels. “We are aiming to fill the gap with a simplified menu in a location many are already visiting and are excited to bring Einstein Bros. Bagels favorites to King Fuel consumers.”
