TCBY® Re-Opens IN OSWEGO, IL

November 18, 2025 // Franchising.com // SALT LAKE CITY – TCBY® announced today the grand re-opening of its location in Oswego, IL. The frozen yogurt franchise will be operated by Samad Khan and his wife, Ankita Patel. The grand re-opening celebration will take place on Saturday, November 22 beginning at 11 a.m., and will feature all-day “Buy One, Get One Free” offers, giveaways, a character appearance, and more!

The husband-and-wife duo has taken over the Oswego location with the goal of creating a community-centered destination where families can enjoy healthier sweet treats. With the Oswego area continuing to grow, Khan and Patel saw an opportunity to revitalize the TCBY brand locally and reintroduce a fun, family-friendly dessert option for the community.

“Our goal is to create a go-to destination for kids, families, and dessert lovers. We’re excited to bring TCBY back as a healthier dessert option for the community,” said Khan. “We want to offer consistent quality, a welcoming environment, and fun experiences for everyone who visits.”

Khan brings extensive business experience to the venture, having founded and operated RideCar, a successful airport limousine service. Patel has managed RideCar since its inception in 2011 and will play a central role in the daily operations and growth of TCBY in Oswego. Together, Khan and Patel bring a customer-first mindset and operational expertise to the franchise.

The TCBY Oswego store will be open Monday-Thursday from 12 p.m. – 9 p.m., Friday-Saturday from 11 a.m. – 10 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. – 9 p.m.
