Paris Baguette Debuts First South Jersey Bakery-Café With Grand Opening in Moorestown on Nov. 24

November 21, 2025 // Franchising.com // MOORESTOWN, N.J.  — Paris Baguette is growing in North America.

The grand opening will take place November 24, beginning with a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the mayor of Moorestown at 3:30 p.m., followed by celebratory offerings, including one free coffee and one free pastry while supplies last.

The Moorestown development is being led by franchisees Ami and David Shah, residents of Monroe, New Jersey, who have been loyal fans of the brand for more than 15 years. The Moorestown café will be the first Paris Baguette in South Jersey. Ami first fell in love with the brand while pregnant with their son and visiting the Edison café. After careers in IT and engineering, the couple wanted to pursue something more personal and community-focused, and Paris Baguette felt like the right place to begin that next chapter.

“Paris Baguette has been a joyful part of our lives for more than 15 years, and we’re excited to bring that same feeling to Moorestown,” said Ami. “We want our café to be a warm, welcoming place where people celebrate everyday moments, whether it’s enjoying a morning coffee, picking up a birthday cake or taking a quiet break during a busy day. This community already feels like home, and we’re honored to serve it.”

“We’re on a mission to re-establish the neighborhood bakery café as the heart of the community across the U.S., and we’re excited to see Ami and David bring this to life in his local trade area,” said Darren Tipton, Chief Executive Officer of Paris Baguette. “In our cafes we like to say, ‘Happy to see you. Happier to serve you.’ And we know Ami and David will wholeheartedly embrace this approach in their neighborhood.”
